By enrolling in any programme at Maa Ganga Yogashala, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your place in any course or retreat. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of enrolment. The remaining balance is due on arrival at the school, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Maa Ganga Yogashala accepts payment by bank transfer, UPI, and cash. Payment details are shared after your enrolment is confirmed. Please refer to our Payment page for bank and transfer details.
2. Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable. However, deposits may be transferred to a future batch within 3 months of the original start date, subject to availability and written request.
- Cancellation 30+ days before the course start date: 70% refund of the full payment (deposit excluded).
- Cancellation within 30 days of the course start date: No refund will be issued.
- No-shows: No refund or credit will be given for students who do not arrive without prior notice.
- Once a course has started: No cancellation, credit, or refund will be accepted under any circumstances.
If your plans change, please contact us as early as possible via WhatsApp or email to discuss rescheduling options.
3. Participation Requirements
All students are expected to participate fully and actively in the programme they have enrolled in. Regular attendance at scheduled sessions is required. Absences must be reported to the school management in advance.
Maa Ganga Yogashala reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour disrupts the learning environment or violates the code of conduct. No refund will be issued in such cases.
4. Health & Medical Liability
Students are responsible for ensuring they are in adequate physical and mental health to participate in yoga programmes. Any pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or medical history that may affect participation must be disclosed at the time of enrolment.
Maa Ganga Yogashala is not liable for any illness, injury, accident, or loss of personal property that may occur during or in connection with any programme. Students participate at their own risk and are advised to hold appropriate personal travel and health insurance.
5. Code of Conduct
All students, teachers, and staff at Maa Ganga Yogashala are expected to maintain a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times. We promote the values of non-violence (ahimsa), truthfulness, and mutual respect.
Behaviour that disrupts others, causes harm, or violates the spirit of the school's values may result in immediate dismissal from the programme without refund. This includes but is not limited to: harassment of any kind, substance use on school premises, and disregard for school rules or scheduling.
6. Programme Changes
Maa Ganga Yogashala reserves the right to make changes to the programme schedule, curriculum, or teachers where necessary. While we aim to follow the published schedule, adjustments may be made to enhance the learning experience or in circumstances beyond our control (e.g. illness, weather, force majeure).
Students will be notified of any significant changes in advance. Minor adjustments to daily schedules do not require prior notice.
7. Photography & Media
Maa Ganga Yogashala may photograph or video-record activities during programmes for use in promotional materials, social media, and marketing. If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform us in writing at the start of your programme. We will respect your preference.
Students may photograph and record their personal experience during programmes. However, recording of sessions without the explicit consent of all participants and teachers is not permitted.
8. Personal Belongings
Maa Ganga Yogashala is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings during your stay. Students are advised to keep valuables secure and to obtain appropriate travel insurance before arrival.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uttarakhand, India.
10. Agreement
By submitting an enrolment form or making a payment to Maa Ganga Yogashala, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
